“I went to a Rudolf Steiner school—they’re awful. They’re still around,
these experimental schools that started in the 1920s, no grades, no real
classes. It was all knitting and beeswax-making—shit like that. Then
after my parents got divorced, I had to go right into public school in
the fourth grade. The Steiner school had never really taught me how to
read, so it was a rude awakening. I was playing catch-up the whole time.” (Justin Theroux)
